Cover Love #5

Hello there fellow bookavores!

As you know, I am a book whore. I am friends with some book bloggers who receive books from publishers that they either don't want to read or are done with and want to pass on to others so as to share the love and I think I am getting a name for myself as a bit of a hussy as I NEVER SAY NO.
Not just because the stories inside hold so much promise, but because the artwork is damn pretty too.

So without further ado, here are some of my fave books covers at the moment! They're not necessarily new, but they ARE most definitely AWESOME.

I kind of think these are awesome but in totally different ways. Except some of that type is impossible to read.

What do you guys think? Do you have some book covers that simply demand you buy that book?

  1. I had never bought a book based on its cover until a couple of months ago. The story inside turned out to be completely amazing which was a happy bonus. The Bellwether Revivals by Benjamin Wood has a simple elegance to the cover and a beautifully written story inside.

  2. My friend and I were discussing the other day how so many book covers look the same right now. It's a girl, model gorgeous, in a long dress with dark scenery all around her.

    1. Yes, the ballgown front cover is so incredibly popular right now, regardless of there is any reason the protagonist would wear a ballgown. But some of them ARE beautiful images.
And there are so many BLACK covers. The YA section can look pretty depressing at a bookshop, actually, can't it? :)

Thanks for commenting! I love comments. I seriously do. Except when they're spam. I get a lot of spam here so, unfortunately, I had to add word verification to stamp that out. But I don't want to stamp out YOUR comment, so keep them coming, okay?
